Universitas Advent Indonesia (UNAI) merayakan ulang tahun ke-70 dari tahun 1949 berdirinya Indonesia Union Seminary. Pada awalnya Universitas terdiri dari 3 program studi, yaitu keperawatan, kependetaan dan keguruan dengan alumni berjumlah 173 orang pada akhir tahun 1960. Saat ini, UNAI memiliki 11 program sarjana dan diploma, 2 program pascasarjana dan 1 program profesi dengan jumlah alumni 12.608 orang.

How does the University celebrate it’s birthday?
To mark this milestone, UNAI launched a year-long series of programs and activities, starting with a celebration at the Alumni Chapel. The anniversary year also included a full program of events marking the lively intellectual exchange that flourishes at UNAI. These included academic events, scientific lectures, symposiums, trails, inscription building, book launches and other gatherings. Among the most notable events were

Alumni Home Coming
June 9. – Alumni Home Coming 2019, where alumni who graduated in 2009 came and motivated students who graduated in 2019, with very lively events and activities.

UNAI 70 Year Inscription
July-August. – The construction of the UNAI 70 Year Inscription, to honor those who have contributed to UNAI both in moral and material support.

International Scholars Conference
October 28-29. – It was an event where researchers from 4 universities, namely Adventist University of Indonesia, Klabat University, Adventist University of the Philippines and Asia-Pacific International University gathered together to present research results and exchange experiences in exploring and developing research ideas in various fields.

Highlights of the event
August 1-4. – At this peak event, all alumni were invited to gather together to celebrate 70 years of UNAI through scientific oration, awarding, inscription inauguration, book launching, footsteps and sports competitions
